Applying for the 2019-20 school year:
Step 1: Fill out an Application Form and forward it to the Calgary Girls’ School. To ensure that we set up the appropriate program for your daughter, please attach copies of your daughter(s) latest report card, final report cards from her last two school years, Provincial Achievement Test results (if applicable), and Canadian Citizenship information. Parents are asked to include any learning/behavioral/medical assessments: IPP’s, Psychological-educational Assessments, Behaviour Contracts, etc. to help our school to best plan for your daughter.
Step 2: Families are strongly recommended to attend an Open House.
Open House Dates – Lakeview & Bel Aire campuses during day
- Friday, November 30, 2018 from 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm
- Friday, February 8, 2019 from 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm

Open House Date – Lakeview campus only during evening

Because our school has an enrollment cap of 600 students there may be times when there is currently not space available in the grade your daughter is applying for. In these situations, her name will be added to a waiting list for spaces available for the next open opportunity or the following year. Parents are requested to advise the school if they wish to have their daughter’s name removed from our waiting list at any time.
Step 3: Registration occurs in the spring and you will be notified by email with instructions on how to log on to our website, set up a username and password and proceed with online registration.
- Registration is not considered complete until all fees have been paid in full.
