Superintendent’s Message to Parents
Dear Parents, Supporters, Staff and Students of CGS:
I have been in the role of Superintendent for just over two months now, and it has been a busy time! I have met with staff as a group and many of them individually, as well as with members of the School Council and of course Board members with whom I have had many meetings and conversations.
I am very pleased to be part of a such a dynamic community of teachers and learners. As the father of a grown daughter, the words “strong”, “confident”, and “independent” all describe my hopes for her, and indeed I believe they describe the person that she has become. I am finding the opportunity to contribute to creating an atmosphere where girls have the best opportunity to develop these traits in their formative years to be extremely worthwhile and fulfilling. The group of teachers and support staff, as well as your Board of Directors, are truly dedicated to the well-being of the students in our school, and I am proud to be a part of it.
As I spend time in the schools and working with our staff at central office and our Directors at the Board table, I am always open to hearing your thoughts and ideas about this exciting work.
Please do not hesitate to contact me.
