How did your experience at CGCS impact and influence you/your life?

My time at CGCS played an integral role in giving me the confidence and desire to pursue sciences in my continuing education. My years as a student at CGCS laid a strong foundation to dream big and work hard. To this day, some of my closest friends were those I went to CGCS with. These woman are pillars in my life, and lead by example.

Where are you and what are you doing now?

I live in Calgary with my husband and dog. We’re eagerly awaiting the arrival of our first child. Professionally, I work as a physiotherapist with a special interest in pelvic health and clinical Pilates at a holistic and multidisciplinary clinic called Intrinsi.

What are you reading? What are you watching? What are you listening to?

I just recently finished the book “  Infidel” by Ayaan Hirsi Ali. This incredible story speaks to the strength of the human spirit, and the importance of standing up for your values in the face of adversity.

I have to admit, I’m currently watching the sitcom, “ Superstore“. It’s silly, light, yet still heartfelt. This inspires me to laugh, smile, and reach out to loved ones during a challenging time in the world.

I am currently listening to “  The Pelvic Health Podcast“. Given my profession as a physiotherapist in pelvic health, I’m very passionate about making the topic of pelvic health (for men and women), more accessible and understandable.
