Laura Cox holds a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Alberta. After teaching in England she joined CGCS in 2013. Over the past 10 years Laura has taught in grades 4, 5 and 9, as well as Phys Ed, outdoor education and introductory coding classes. She is passionate about teaching through inquiry based learning and strives to create innovative, safe spaces for students to grow. She especially loves to teach math and help students foster a growth mindset. Outside of work Laura can be found adventuring in the mountains, reading a good book or spending time with her family, friends and dogs.
