Abby Charchun is the drama teacher at CGCS and has been with the school since 2011. With a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Education, she brings a wealth of knowledge and professional experience to her classroom. Combining her love for theatre and her extensive background in performance, directing and voice work, she creates an inclusive and engaging environment where her students feel comfortable expressing themselves. Beyond directing memorable school productions, Ms. Charchun organizes workshops and school events that help students build confidence and foster a collaborative mindset. Ms. Charchun recently retired from her 15 year appointment as an Alberta Marriage Commissioner and when she is not making theatre with her students, she enjoys cooking with her husband, creative writing, and DIY home renovation projects.
