This is Rachel Phillips’ third year at CGCS, where she loves to encourage and celebrate student curiosity. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science, with honours in geology from Queen's University prior to completing a Bachelor of Education in inclusive education from the University of Calgary. Ms. Phillips is energized by students asking big picture questions as her passion for scientific and critical thinking paves the way for learning within her classroom. In her class however, there is always time for a good joke and an occasional dance party.  Ms. Phillips is involved in mentoring the first robotics team and science fair at CGCS. Outside of school, Ms. Phillips can be found golfing, skiing, hiking and spending quality time with her family.
