Dani Sorenson

Dani Sorenson is currently in her 6th year teaching at the Calgary Girls Charter School. She graduated with a Bachelor of health science from Mount Royal University while simultaneously completing her Emergeny Medical Response and Emergency Medical Technician designations from Southern Alberta Insitute of Technology and Professional Medical Associates. After working in and teaching emergency medical services for three years, she moved to Kelowna to complete an after-degree in Education at the University of British Columbia, Okanagan campus. Ms. Sorenson has experience teaching middle and high school in all subject areas. She loves being able to support students and foster enthusiasm in learning and believes that having fun and building community makes for a great year! Ms. Sorenson loves the outdoors and when she is not in school, you will almost always find her adventuring with her dogs, playing in her garden, travelling, or doing a variety of sports, including horseback riding and slo-pitch.
