Alex Wood obtained her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Alberta University of the Arts (with a major in painting), as well as her Bachelor of Education from Ambrose University. Ms. Wood adores being an educational assistant because it allows her to mix her backgrounds in a thoughtful way and pursue her love for helping students learn. Making meaningful connections and building strong relationships with the people she works with are at the forefront of her career. She is passionate about exploring through imagination, creativity, and curiosity in order to assist each individual student navigate the world. In her downtime, you can find Ms. Wood playing video games or D&D with her friends, creating a new art project, eating cinnamon buns while dancing out of pure joy, or rolling around with her cute fluffy cats.
